SSANU’s political ideology combines the historic principles of justice, peace and unity with a modern commitment to environmental sustainability.
We believe that there can be no lasting peace without justice; no meaningful development without unity; and no sustainable future without protecting our environment.
Peace
We support dialogue, reconciliation, peaceful political competition and an end to violence as a means of resolving political differences.
Unity
South Sudan’s diversity is a national strength. SSANU promotes inclusive national identity and equal citizenship.
Ecology
Our environment is our inheritance and our responsibility. We advocate sustainable management of land, forests, water, wetlands, wildlife and natural resources
